Hi everyone. I have been reading the post here for a few weeks and decided not to lurk any more. I am here to learn so I probably won't post much. Hope I can ask questions, if no one minds. I have been thinking about opening up a Scott Trade acct for several months now and am real close to doing it. Waiting for my taxes so I can fund a Roth for 2008.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have been reading some of the posts and I am already starting to learn much more than I anticipated. Don't have to worry about me giving up my day job--there is so much out there. My taxes are due somewhere around the 10th of April, so I can watch and learn a lot more before I jump in. Don't know if I will ever be ready for the 3x ETF's but I can learn.

Does anyone here do covered calls? That might be more my speed at this point.

Haven't seen anyone here talk covered calls yet, WVG. Nobody here yet doing anything but short/long/inverse that I've seen. You can be our first.:)
