The good news is I had a plan and it was executed properly with stops in place.

The bad news is the plan sucked. With 3 days for folks to linger the financial news, I was banking on a gap up this morning. Instead we got a gap down. We know that fundamentally these banks are in horrible shape. But what we know doesn’t mean a thing if it doesn’t make us money. I didn’t want to be involved in the last hour of trading, so I’ll take my lumps now.

Looks like a pennant (bullish) but I don't really look at intraday charts unless I am trading intraday (day trading).

Tom knows more about chart reading than I do but I thought it was a bull pennant too. Coiling for some kind of a move anyway.

I was wondering why my GGP intraday chart wasn't working. Turns out they filed chapter 11 today. Hey Tom, there goes my bullish pennate. They are also held by FAS.

Does this mean I lost my money?

Good luck JTH. CNBC is getting a little exuberant over this rally saying the bears have and will continue to miss the boat. Could be a sign that we're about to get a hit to the downside. Of course I've been saying that for a month.
