JTH, are you buying SLW because you believe that commodities will continue to lead this next cyclical bull or is this just a one week fling?

I'm glad you asked me that because sometimes I forget to ask myself why I take a position. I'm getting killed with all this market volatility and now I'm resigning myself to taking longer positions and not sweating the daily grind.


For SLW I'm looking out to July. My target is 11.00 and untill than I'll try to buy during May's lows. They have a conference call 11 May.

Setting aside the fact that this old man sitting next to me doesn't seem to mind he's selling his grand children's long-term future for his short-term success...

When I was flying to Utah, the guy next to me is working for a company that manages government property. I asked him what he thought about the stimulus package? He said he was excited because money was already starting to pour in and he was fixing to get backlogged with "infrastructure" work. Long story short, somewhere there is an infrastructure play to be had.

Gosh darnet, there are so many great stocks I want to buy but none of them will give me a pullback! We could get a double top at 4.50

For an energy/tech play, I like IO and have liked it for a long time.

I have a stop placed under SLV at 8.99 as It has been very good to me, but I'd like to get in at a better price.

Although It could go further up, but I'm working my way back into cash. I'd like to sit this one out and let my SDS play out, then scoop up the dip.
